Astrodyne and Arrow Sign Master European Distributor Agreement
Significant expansion of sales channels and support network
MANSFIELD, Mass., November 28, 2007 —Astrodyne Corporation has appointed Arrow Electronics as their European ‘Master Distributor’ for over 1800 power supply product lines. Astrodyne’s customers will benefit from Arrow’s global capabilities in areas such as aggregation of purchasing, inventory holding, freight consolidation and superior logistics. The agreement also reinforces Arrow’s focus on system-level technologies and delivering aggregation benefits to power specialists.
Astrodyne’s product range includes standard and custom-configured AC/DC switching power supplies, AC/DC adapters and isolated DC/DC converters. Target applications include industrial controls, instrumentation and medical equipment. The new agreement is consistent with Arrow’s strategy to increase its focus on subsystem and embedded system solutions by offering a comprehensive range of platform-orientated technologies.

The Astrodyne product portfolio will represent part of the offering from Arrow’s newly created European Embedded Solutions Group.
