MANSFIELD, Mass., February 15, 2008 — Designed to meet the space and performance needs in wireless communications, portable equipment, peripherals, networking, and personal electronics such as digital cameras, PDAs and MPEG Players, Astrodyne Corporation announces the ASA30 line of value-priced wall mount adapters that provide 30 Watts of output power. All models accept universal input from 90-264VAC and six models are available that provide single outputs from 5VDC to 24VDC.
The universal input and interchangeable clip adapter plugs which are included with every unit provide international agency approval and enable the power supply to be connected to virtually any power outlet in the world. The ASA30 provides for optional US, UK, European or Australian plugs. The ASA30 Series will operate over the ambient temperature range of 0 to 40 °C without forced cooling or output power derating. Dimensions are 2.27"L X 4.24"W X 1.32"H. All models contain overvoltage and short circuit protection circuitry and an internal input FCC B EMI filter. Medical Grade versions (ASA30M) are also available. Prices start at $23 in OEM quantities with delivery stock to 2 weeks ARO.
